NEW SIGHTS ALONG MY OLD FAMILIAR ROUTE

To my left, upon exiting our complex, a Loudoun Valley High School sign honoring the senior class, and a little bit further down the road, to my right, an outdoor boot camp in the strip mall parking lot.

The grass seemed greener than usual, the bushes fuller, and the flowers more beautiful than I remember them being in seasons past.

The Greek Bistro, and our local art gallery, which I thought had closed during the pandemic (though I could be wrong), are now open again. Are these signs that the restrictions are gradually being lifted? Or maybe just signs that I haven't been very observant, LOL.

  1. The greens are vibrant and the flowers lovely. Wonder what was the deal with these people at the strip mall...

    1. I'm guessing the gym was being creative and moving their programs outside, since the restrictions don't allow people to go in.

  2. Our community seems to be slowly reopening, too. Loved your tour. The people in the parking lot reminded me of two or three weeks ago when we were driving by a former shopping center that our church purchased and repurposed as our church building. On a grassy area between the church's parking lot and street, a group of women in exercise clothes were avidly exercising under the direction of an instructor. I assumed they were creatively dealing with closure of local fitness centers.
