Last week my daughter stopped by for a socially distant visit in the parking lot, followed by a very long walk. It was the first time in over two months that I've had anyone to walk with, and I could never have gone the distance without someone to talk to along the way. That someone being my daughter, made it an even more special event.
Although my family has been keeping in touch through weekly Zoom meetings, in no way does that compare to a live encounter.
How wonderful! and what gorgeous flowers! Is this in a park? I see wild strawberries, too!
ReplyDeleteThey're mostly along the bike trail that runs through town, but the roses and the red bushes (don't know their name) in the bottom pictures with the rabbit, are part of someone's garden in the neighborhood.
Delete<3 The few distanced visits I have gotten to enjoy through this have been the best part. This whole thing can get pretty lonely. I'm glad you had a beautiful day. :)
