THANKFUL THURSDAY

Feeling thankful for technology and livestream that
enabled me to virtually attend my grandson's graduation from Stevens Institute of Technology in New Jersey yesterday and even get some halfway decent photos.

They even had an electronic commencement program from which I was able to glean that he achieved highest honors in his engineering degree.

I am also thankful for all the great photos my daughter-in-law sent me, like this one I've included here as well.

  1. I am very thankful for technology, especially for these special events. Congratulations to your grandson on his graduation. Your daughter's photos are lovely!

I wrote an e-mail to you about the children's story that disappeared on you. Sorry about that. I have also answered your comment on my blog. Thanks for letting me know.

    1. He got accepted for a three-year rotational program for a company called BD that manufactures healthcare products. Each year he will be exposed to a different role at a different plant, and hopefully wind up at their headquarters in New Jersey after the third year (unless he loves what they do at one of the other plants better). He starts out in Nebraska next month.

  4. Congratulations to your grandson on his fantastic achievement! Technology is amazing, allowing us to share these special moments even from afar.
Wishing him all the best in his new role and future endeavors.
You must be so proud, Sandra!
BTW, if you need to translate to English in YouTube videos, you can click on the "CC" button for subtitles, then go to the settings icon (the gear) and select "Subtitles/CC," followed by "Auto-translate," and choose English.

    Hugs and blessings
