Van Der Ber's is the most beautiful and diverse garden center I have ever seen. It spreads over 180 acres, and includes a sunken garden, landscaped conifer and pond gardens, a "rain tree," a garden/gift shop, outdoor furniture, fountains, statuaries, and a whole lot more we probably didn't even get to see.
The center is owned and run by husband and wife team, John and Marie Vanderber and their three children, and John himself built the very striking tree branch gazebos and pergolas out of locust and cedar tree branches. It is truly a sight to behold.
Wonderful photo series!

DeleteHi, Your birthday trip sounded MARVELOUS..... I've never been to Long Island --but would love to go there sometime. That VER DER BER's Garden Center sounds fantastic... I loved the gazebos and pergolas --made from locust and cedar trees.... WOW--have never seen anything like that... INCREDIBLE.

In answer to your question: I think the reply to comments is a thing that was part of the blog template I chose. But maybe you can go into Settings and then the comments section and set something up on your blog.
This looks like a place I would love!
