The flowers in my neighborhood have been so pretty these last few months. I'd never really noticed that there was a sequence to their blooming before. Since the weather is pretty much the same in late spring and early summer, I wonder why that is? How do they know when it's their turn to show off?
Now seems to be the turn of the lilies and magnolias. Wonder what comes next.
At first I didn't realize these were magnolia flower buds. To me they looked like Christmas tree lights, except why would anyone have Christmas lights up in June?
Isn't it amazing how God has such an order to the world - including when things flower? Our lilies are just starting to bloom too.
ReplyDeleteLilies and Magnolias blooming here, too. We don't have them on our property but sure do enjoy them as we travel through other neighborhoods as we go to pick up prescriptions or other necessities.
