Word prompt--PIVOT
Five minutes to free-write about it
-------------------------------------------------
The last few days have been pivotal (in the sense of a turning point) for both me and my plants.
The wildflowers I had planted and thought would be too strangled to bloom because I accidentally overcrowded them by adding too many seeds to the pot, are looking beautiful. And the tomato plant that had been sitting on a sunny windowsill in my bedroom and was looking half dead, immediately perked up when I moved it out to the balcony.
As for me, I'm perking up as well, and having a renewed desire to start taking pictures again as I'm out and about doing errands. Yesterday I had the energy to pull over twice and get out of my car to take these pictures of some pretty purple umbrellas outside a local eatery, and a July 4th fireworks stand.

You are doing better than me. The squirrels have dug up my seedlings looking for water and my veg are wilting. It is very hot in the UK! I am your neighbour on FMF
ReplyDeleteFresh garden tomatoes 🍅 are delicious. I have never had a garden, as I have always lived in an apartment, but I have been given some garden tomatoes on a few occasions by friends and they are fantastic.
ReplyDeleteYay !!!
ReplyDeleteI am thrilled that you have pivoted ... God is Good and He hears our prayers.
(((hugs)))

Hurrah, your plants are now thriving! and the purple umbrellas are so pretty. They are an unusual umbrella color to see.
ReplyDeleteI like the pictures! 😃
ReplyDeleteI am growing zuchinnis..zuccini...zuchini...I should probably look that up because I am a fancy writer these days and want everyone to know. Hmm...nah. Also, growing some watermellons. Good Lord. Watermelon?
So glad to hear that things are improving for you. Keeping you on my prayer list for complete healing and restored energy... things look good around your place.. Hard to believe that fireworks will be popping just next week. Where has the year gone. Enjoy a beautiful weekend
ReplyDeleteI am glad you are pivoting into feeling better.
ReplyDeleteI am so glad you are feeling better Sandra! And that your plants are thriving. You have turned the corner. Wonderful! We have been seeing these firework places everywhere. Those outside umbrellas are a pretty color.
ReplyDeleteYes! That's what I DON'T do ... getting out of the car to take that photo ... Thank you for the reminder. Blessings on your health today! (FMF#6)
ReplyDeleteSandra, I'm so glad you're feeling better! I need to take more pictures. I've cut way back on my photos and they are usually what inspire my writing. So thanks for the reminder :) Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteBom dia, Sandra
ReplyDeleteQue bom saber que estás se recuperando bem e que as suas plantinhas estão ótimas. Bjs querida.
Glad your pivot has allowed you to engage in things you like doing. Visiting from FMF13
ReplyDeleteSo encouraging to read how both you and your plants are thriving after a little pivot.
ReplyDeleteAmazing how small changes bring such fresh energy.
I love that you’re back to taking photos again.
Blessings, Sandra!
Your plants are lovely. I don't do well with plants and I admire those who do. Regina from FMF 12.
ReplyDeleteHello Sandra~ I'm so glad that you are feeling better. I had to read through a few posts to find out your circumstances. I'm so glad I did, because each one of your posts always has a beautiful scripture message. After reading the scripture, I am always encouraged and have hope in the our Lord and Savior! Todays post also gave me hope that maybe I can get some of my plants to grow and give me as much beauty as your wild flowers! Your tomatoes will love all that sun!! Thanks for stopping by my blog... I really don't expect to see anyone after such a long hiatus. Hugs and love! Barb
ReplyDeleteI love the purple umbrellas.
ReplyDeleteGlad to see your plants looking so good! And I love the purple umbrellas. You inspire me to want to get out and take more photos. Blessings to you!
ReplyDeleteDear friend, I am stopping by to let you know that I am thinking of you and I pray that you continue to improve with each day.
ReplyDeleteHi Sandra~ Thanks for your sweet comment on my blog! I love being able to conect with such amazing people! Yes, I did take that sunset photo. It was taken a few years ago near the Montana border, not too far from my home, at a place we love to go camping at.
