A rare sight, obliterated here in Canada, quite a while back. Forget exactly when! The penny no longer has value with the cost of living these days. Nice image.
You're not going to believe this but when getting out of the car at In n Out tonight, I looked down and there was change spilled all over the parking slot next to our car. I picked up 55 shiny pennies and 80 cents in dimes and nickels. I am surprised that so much change wasn't picked up. I had to say thank you to ??? I kept thinking are we on Candid Camera.. HaHa Sue

ReplyDeleteI hear we may be losing them here too.

The cleanest shiniest one I have seen in quite some time.
ReplyDeleteHi Sandra, I have many old coins, some of them - according to the internet- are worth quite a bit of money. God bless.
ReplyDeleteEndangered species. Like the old two dollar bill and silver dimes minted before 1964, some may be valuable in the future.
ReplyDeleteOlá, Sandra
ReplyDeleteÓtima moeda, bjs querida.
We have a huge plastic jug full of the pennies...Someday I guess I need to go through them. Who knows, I might have one that is worth something big.
ReplyDeleteI picked up a penny on my walk today. :-)
ReplyDeleteIt is plastic? Or a real one?
ReplyDeleteA real one. I found it on the hallway carpet near my apartment.
DeleteI didn't know that US had pennies.
ReplyDeleteI still have them because they are rarely used these days. I have a collection of coins left me by my father. One is as far back as Queen Victoria.
ReplyDeleteA penny! I would not even know what to do with one these days. 😂
