Thundersnow, the weatherman called it. Heavy snow falling fast and furious, weighing down the trees. I had never seen or heard anything like this before. Apparently there was lightening too, but since I wasn't looking out my window, I missed it.
Beautiful pictures but they look so cold! Brrrr! I am afraid that we So. Californians are weather weaklings. We freeze when it is in the 50s. I am sure that we would turn into icicles if we were there with you. I hope that you stay safe and warm.
Thanks again for sharing the amazing pictures you take. Hugs,Lura
I'm a mom, grandma, and great-granny, who enjoys encouraging others by sharing the message of God's love for them, as well as the awesome ways He has worked in my life. Despite my age, I am also still a work in progress.

It looks so beautiful Sandra, but I am sure it was a bit scary as well! It sounds like it would be, with lightening and all!! Stay safe and warm! xxoo
It does look beautiful, GGG! Brrrrrrr!!! I don't do well in the cold!!
Stay safe and warm!!
Beautiful pictures! Here in the frozen tundra, we've been painted white since mid-December. I'm starting to get cabin fever...
Have a blessed week!
That is one sight I would just LOVE to see - I have only ever seen light falls of snow so that would just be amazing!!
I assume the branches break with the weight of all that snow?
