My memory does not always serve me well, especially when I'm unexpectedly hit with scary symptoms, or when I'm in a funk, and so several years ago I came up with some tools to help me through these difficult times. My favorite is a little tabbed notebook I started, each section dealing with an issue I struggle with in my own personal life--anger, fear, health, discouragement, spiritual warfare, who I am in the Lord, etc.--and every time I find a verse that speaks to my heart, I write it down in the appropriate section.
This little book has come to my rescue on more than one occasion when I'm trying to think of a particular Scripture but my mind draws a blank. I have it all copied on my computer too, so if you click on the picture of the notebook, you will be able to either read it or print it out.
Once again, thank you all for stopping by to visit on your magic carpet ride, and I hope you had as much fun meeting new people as I did. .

Thank you Sandy. I love your post TOOLS ON ENCOURAGEMENT. It is hard for me to keep any kind of christian journal and be able to make sense of it or find something specific in it later. I printed out those pages and will use it as a model to yet again try a system that works. I have one that works pretty well but I think your 'little fat notebook may just be a good companion.
big CONGRATS to you lucky winners! this giveaway has been a blast! thank YOU for sharing the fun AND for sharing your book!! :)

Hi Sandy! I got your email, which makes me think you didn't get my email! - which is strange because I replied from yours. But yes, I received my book and I love it! Thank you so much - I know this book will be a blessing to me for a long time to come! Jill
